Bryan has over 23 years of management experience in the off-
premise retail, wholesale, on-premise restaurant, wine and
liquor services.  

Bryan has fueled his passion of wine by working at the most
prominent liquor stores in the state, & has aided in the
conception, design, floor plan, retail practices and opening of
some of the largest liquor stores in Colorado.
Bringing his years of wine trade expertise and retail
management skills to Park Avenue Wine & Spirits, Bryan has in
anticipation of the opening of this store  has been personally
selecting the brands that you are familiar with as well as
esoteric wines that will delight your tongue & eagerly awaits
your personal suggestions.

He has been the co-host of the syndicated food & wine show on
Dish Network, “T.V. Tres”, has been featured on the front cover
of the national magazine “Beverage Retailer” & nominated as
Retailer of the Year. Appeared on the syndicated network
“Altitude” & has done multiple radio shows on ESPN Race
Central.  For years Bryan has served as an orator conducting
workshops for food and wine clubs including The Colorado
Culinary Institute, The American Institute of Wine and Food,
started by Julia Child and Robert Mondavi, as well as The
Colorado Institute of the Culinary Arts.

Bryan has consulted in commercial wine making in Colorado
and sold his blends in the Colorado market for several vintages,
including the creation of a successful Australian wine label. It
should be noted that his very own “The Wine Seller Red Rhone
Blend” was rated 89 points by the famous wine critic Robert
Parker.

Bryan has earned a Higher Certificate with Distinction from the
International Wine Coalition, granted the title of Wine Master
from the Wine Education Guild and a Certified Sommelier
degree from the Court of Master Sommelier, ”The ultimate
professional credential worldwide in the wine industry”.

Chris Talkington
  • Wine Consultant/ Manager

Chris has over 3 years in the wine retail business. He services
customers by giving sound advice from his experience of
tasting from the vast selection that the store has to offer.

His experience is compounded from the in-store tasting's that
he conducts for you every Tuesday and Thursday as well as his
tasting’s of barrel samples of wines not yet released to the
public.

To broaden his palette and repertoire of advice he will taste &
review copious notes taken direct from the winery. His
exploratory search of wines to recommend to you will reach
beyond new releases, styles, and line extensions.

Our progressive wine consultant is looking to increase his
knowledge by advancing in college studies of wine and organic
chemistry.

Chris has also passed the first course offered through the
"Court of Master Sommeliers", considered the ultimate
professional credential worldwide. He plans to continue his wine
education and become one of the few to be granted with the title
"Master Sommeliers".

Chris will uncork for you a plethora of knowledge on the various
wines through out the store and is quick to get you any wines
that we might provide in our humidified & temperature
controlled store.

He is so determined in having you walk away with the best wine
experience that you will ever have, he will go as far as to take
your request of specific wines not easily found or carried in the
states and will search & seek to find your request.
Our goal is to fill the needs of our
customers. Everyone in the wine
department is a trained wine
steward or studying to become one.
